End of Year Closing
Information
Students living in the
residence halls must check out of their rooms within 24 hours after their
last exams, or by 5pm on Friday, May 2, 2008, whichever is earlier. Only
those students who are directly participating in graduation may stay past
5pm on Friday, May 2, 2008. Please contact your RA or RD for more details.
Students living in the
University-operated apartments must check out of their apartments within 48
hours after their last exams. Students will not be able to move their
belongings out of their apartments during graduation ceremonies. Students
participating in graduation ceremonies must notify their RA or RD to extend
your check-out date until noon on Monday, May 5, 2008.
This timeline differs
from other break closings so that University staff can prepare for
graduation ceremonies. Additionally, this schedule better enables graduates
and their families to celebrate a day which focuses on their achievements.
