ESHE 496. Topical Seminar in ESHE
One of three hours lecture or laboratory equivalent (1-3).
Exploration of a specific area of current interest in exercise, sport and health education with specific topics to be selected. May be taken for up to six hours of credit.
- Detailed Description of Content of Course
The content of this course will vary based on student and faculty interest. The course will focus on an in-depth review of current material in physical education.
- Detailed Description of Conduct of Course
The course will focus on students researching and presenting information on current topics under the supervision at the professor. Students will discuss directed reading in areas of the selected topic.
- Goals and Objectives of the Course
The goal of this course is to provide for the study of topics that are not available within the current curriculum. The topics will be selected by the faculty member.
- Assessment Measures
Assessment will generally include evaluations of written and oral presentation within the class. Special projects and written exams may also be used.
