Accounting, Finance & Business Law

FINC.01 – New Course

Creation of FINC 351, ‘Personal Financial Planning’.
Proposal was tabled for revisions and will be reviewed at next meeting.

FINC.02 – New Course

Creation of FINC 451, ‘Advanced Financial Planning’.
Proposal was tabled for revisions and will be reviewed at next meeting.

Management & Marketing

MKTG.01 – New Course

Creation of MKTG 345, ‘Integrated Marketing Communications’.
Proposal was supported and forwarded to Dr. Lerch for final approval.

MKTG.02 – Program Revision (Addition of New Elective)

Change the BBA in Marketing to incorporate the newly created MKTG 345.
Proposal was supported and forwarded to Dr. Lerch for final approval.

MKTG.03 – Course Syllabi Changes & Minor Change to Course

Change course description and goals/objectives of MKTG 341 to better reflect actual course content.
Proposal was supported and forwarded to Dr. Lerch for final approval.

Teacher Education & Leadership

EDUC.01 –New Course

Creation of EDUC 200, ‘Exploring Teaching’.
Proposal was tabled and, pending representation from Education Department, will be reviewed at next meeting.

Music

MUSC.01 – New Course

Creation of MUSC 119, ‘Jazz Improvisation I’.
Proposal was supported and forwarded to Dr. Lerch for final approval.

MUSC.02 – New Course

Creation of MUSC 219, ‘Jazz Improvisation II’.
Proposal was supported and forwarded to Dr. Lerch for final approval.

MUSC.03 – New Course – Created for General Education Requirements

Creation of MUSC 228, ‘Music in Podcasting’.
Proposal was supported and forwarded to Dr. Lerch for final approval.

MUSC.04 – Change to Catalog Description & Minor Change to Course

Delete eight (8) observation hours from MUSC 120, which will be redistributed into the program through field experience hours at the 200 & 300 level courses.
Proposal was supported and forwarded to Dr. Lerch for final approval.

MUSC.05 – Change to Catalog Description & Minor Change to Course

Addition of one (1) laboratory hour to MUSC 221.
Proposal was supported and forwarded to Dr. Lerch for final approval.

MUSC.06 - Change to Catalog Description & Minor Change to Course

Addition of four (4) observation hours to MUSC 297.
Proposal was supported and forwarded to Dr. Lerch for final approval.

MUSC.07 – Course Prerequisite Change, Change to Catalog Description, & Minor Change to Course

Addition of MUSC 354 as prerequisite for MUSC 344.
Addition of six (6) observation hours to MUSC 344.
Proposal was conditionally supported and forwarded to Dr. Lerch upon receipt of revisions (if possible, prerequisites should be lower level courses than the course itself) for final approval.

MUSC.08 – Course Prerequisite Change, Change to Catalog Description & Minor Change to Course

Addition of MUSC 354 as a prerequisite for MUSC 346.
Addition of six (6) observation hours.
Addition of Lab Band Component to encourage secondary instrumental performance & supply teaching/conducting opportunities.
Proposal was supported and forwarded to Dr. Lerch for final approval.
