ITEC 495. Information Systems Capstone
Three hours lecture (3).
Prerequisite: Senior standing, Information Science and Systems major, ITEC 225, ITEC 340, ITEC 370, FINC 331, MGNT 357.
Advanced topics in information systems that build on previous courses in software engineering, web programming, databases and business. This course is intended to provide a large information system capstone experience.
This course will emphasize strategic planning, business requirements analysis, and management of large information systems projects. The topics include:
A large system project will be used to discuss the contents of the course and provide students with experience in large information systems.
To provide information technology students in the information systems track with skills required for managing and implementing large information systems projects.
Participation in all activities related to the class project is crucial to successful completion of this course.
