Text Box: Minutes for the first meeting 9/15/09 at 8 p.m. -Sent around sign up sheet for names and emails -Introduced executive board members -Went over the requirements for joining Psi Chi -Our specific chapter dues are not set, however national dues are set at $45.00 -Went over requirements for transfer students -Went over requirements for graduate students -Gave some beneficial reasons to join our organization -Went over application instructions -Addressed the fact that we want to bring back formal inductions -Addressed the fact that we wish to do something for community service that pertains more to the field of psychology -American Foundation for the Prevention of suicide walk takes place on October 17, from 1-3 p.m. in Roanoke -We wish to have a pizza party or ice cream party within the next month instead of a bbq -Voted Lauren Taylor in as Treasurer -Voted Kristen Harner in as Historian Meeting lasted until 8:15 p.m.
