Stephanie Semler is an Instructor in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. Her research interests include History of Philosophy, especially Ancient Philosophy and Early Modern Philosophy; Metaphysics, Epistemology, Philosophy of Mind, Ethics and Aesthetics. She teaches “Introduction to Philosophy: Reasoning and Argument,” “Symbolic Logic," and is currently teaching an honors section of "Introduction fo Philosophy: Knowledge and Reality" with Dr. Roann Barris in Art History. Prof. Semler has a B.F.A. in Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, CA, an M.A. in Philosophy from University of Nevada, Reno, and is ABD in Philosophy from University of California, Santa Barbara.
