Dr. Paul Thomas is Assistant Professor of Religious Studies in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. He teaches Introduction to Religion, Survey of World Religions, and Survey of the Old Testament. He has been trained in Biblical Studies and ancient Near Eastern religions and has a secondary interest in New Religious Movements. His current research interests include the appropriation of biblical narratives in alternative religious groups.
