Philosophy Concentration

To graduate from Radford University students must complete 120 credit hours, including 50 hours of general education courses and 33 hours of courses in the major. To graduate with a B.A. degree students must complete 6-12 hours in a foreign language. To graduate with a B.S. degree students must complete 6-8 hours of approved courses beyond the general education requirements.

The philosophy concentration leading to either a B.A. or a B.S. degree consists of 33 hours; 21 hours of core courses in philosophy and 12 hours of electives in philosophy and/or religious studies.

The minor in philosophy consists of 18 semester hours of philosophy courses as outlined below:
