INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS

To ensure your full consideration for employment please note the following guidelines before completing the attached application.                                                                             

  1. A SEPARATE application is required for EACH position applied for.

  1. Print or type plainly.

  1. State the name and number of the position for which you are applying.

  1. Complete the entire application even if submitting a resume (the only information you may substitute from the resume are duties and responsibilities).  Letters of recommendation are not considered in the screening process and are not forwarded to the interviewing department.

  1. Note that the information requested on the bottom tear away portion of the application is required for reporting purposes and will not be used for employment decision and is not kept with your application.

  1. Applications MUST be received in the Department of Human Resources by 5:00 p.m. on the application DEADLINE DATE or they will not be considered for employment.  Postmarks will not be honored.  FAXED applications are accepted.  The Fax number is (540) 831-6278.  You may also e-mail your application, formatted for Microsoft Word, to pers-web@radford.edu.

You will be notified ONLY if selected for an interview.  All new hires at Radford University are required to prove work eligibility and to verify identity.  A list of the acceptable identification documents is given to all new employees on the date of hire.  Some positions require a criminal conviction investigation.
