Spring Orientation and Registration 2009
When:
Monday, January 19th, 2009. On-campus students may move into their residence halls on Sunday, January 18th.
Who should attend this program?
Any new freshman student beginning classes at RU in the Spring semester should attend. This will be your opportunity to be academically advised and register for your classes.
Beginning in early December, admitted students will receive a letter containing their student ID number, and a web address to sign up on-line for the program. If you have been admitted and do not receive a letter by early January, please call our office at the number below.

As mentioned above, students living on-campus will be able to check-in with Residential Life in Tyler Hall between 9:00 am and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 18th. Check-in for Spring Orientation will be in the New Student Program’s lobby located at 118 Walker Hall and will be between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Your ID card photo will be taken during check-in.
The Spring Orientation program will begin with an Opening Welcome and dinner at Dalton Hall beginning at 5:00 p.m., for both you and any family who may be with you. The advising and registration portion of Spring Orientation will take place on Monday, January 19th beginning with breakfast at Dalton Dining Hall at 7:30 a.m. This portion of Spring Orientation will be for students only and will last until approximately 12:00 p.m.
It is very important for you to attend both days of Spring Orientation in order for you to register for classes.
