Description:
Useful for members of the state government, historians or outside investors looking at growth rates, this clickable map represents all of Virginia’s counties and cities during the seven censuses from 1940 to 2000, and another set for the 2004 census estimate. Each area lists the population for the given year, and is color-coded to indicate the percentage of the growth rate during the previous decade. The counties are displayed in eight different regions of Virginia.
