 Reports:

President:

-Dileo was here last weekend

-This week, Dwayne will check on how the $250 will be sent for conference registration

 V-P:

-Volunteers Needed for Conference; Amanda will send out an e-mail; respond with where you’ll be staying and when you’ll be leaving so that volunteer info. can be determined

 Secretary.:

-Minutes Stand As Read

 Treasurer.:

-Collecting payments and registration forms for conf. at the end of the meeting; the costs are $54.50 for non-AMTA members and $34.50 for AMTA members; make checks payable to MTSORU

-On Monday, Feb. 17th ,  Emily will mail one check from MTSORU student account to cover cost of conference after $250 check from RU; she will also mail registration forms

-Food costs for Dileo/potluck: about $73 from student account for meat/fruit trays and paper goods

 Historian.:

-Took pictures of Dileo and this past weekend

 Sr. Rep.:

-Allison will write short summary on MTSORU and its activities for the MARAMTS newsletter

 Old Business:

FC:

            *Tote-bags: have ordered 50 totebags for $339.50; Leslie is calling 11-W as soon

            as possible to see if they can change our order since we have not sent them

            payment yet; GOT TO SELL THE TOTE-BAGS; Amanda checking on reserving

            table at conference in order to sell tote-bags there

            *Decals: Amanda in contact with lady in Frederick, MD; still no designs; because

            of recent tote-bag order, MTSORU votes to no longer do decals; possible

            donation to Hykyoung Park may be made at a later date if financially able

            *T-shrit: 2 designs; MTSORU votes on the tote-bag design on the back of the

            shirt with a treble clef featuring music major concentrations on the front; next step

            to check on costs, sizes, colors, etc.

 NLC:

            *Has not yet met again, but Kimberly is checking on prices for “mailbox”

            supplies; Damian will send out letters to each music student organization to ask

            them if they would like to contribute a magazine subscription; he is also checking

            into which magazine MTSORU could contribute

 BYL:

            *Still waiting on Rationales from Parliamentarian

            *Will meet later this week

 Massage Workshop:

            *Kimberly is checking with Liz

 CPR:

            *Dwayne is checking on now

 New Business:

***Melanie offers to start a Volunteer Committee so that MTSORU can participate in service activities more regularly.  Pres. Puts Volunteer Committee (VC) into action.  On this committee: Kimberly, Sara, Kat, Leslie, and Dee.***
