The Music Educators National Conference

Music Educators National Conference (MENC) works to promote the best possible music education for our nation's children and the advancement of music education as a profession. MENC's objectives are to: MENC membership is open to music educators and all others interested in the advancement of music education. The association's 62,000 members (who belong to state music education associations in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and Europe) are involved in all levels of music education from preschool through college. In addition, many important companies belong through the Music Industry Conference, and the members of 23 other organizations are associated with MENC in a wide variety of efforts to promote music education.
