October 2002

Patron of Magic Slopes:

This month, Magic Slopes begins making preparations for the 2000-2001 season. Tentative opening date for Magic Slopes Resort is set for Oct. 27.

Accumulations of 22 to 24 inches have been reported at Magic Slopes but lighter amounts ranging from 4 to 6 inches fell upon most of the valley. The temperatures remain in the 20's to 30's.  Winter is here how we love it here at Magic Slopes Resort!

Facts about the ski and snowboard season:

  • Ski & snowboard season: November 22, - April 15
  • Hours of operation: 8:30am - 4:00pm daily
  • Daily passes cost $25 and provide access to four chairlifts
  • Average waiting time in a lift line less than 5 minutes
  • Unrestricted season passes for children (ages 6-14): $100 and adults: $249

Season Passes as well as other products may be purchased by calling 1-800-333-3SKI or on-line at skimagicslopes.com

The unique location of Magic Slopes helps the resort accumulate over 400

inches of snow annually, ensuring one of the longest ski seasons in the country. Other attributes include the world's fastest four-passenger chair lift, accessing the aggressive terrain of "The Ridge." This all combines to make an attractive offer to skiers and riders.

This fall Magic Slopes will again focus our efforts on being the first seasonal ski area in the United States to open. The honor of being chosen to host the Super Boarding Series Opener assures our efforts will become even more crucial in order to provide the best snow possible for the estimated 20 teams expected to participate this world class event.

Come and enjoy the snow this winter at Magic Slopes!

Sincerely,
