I am Michael Andrews, a Junior at Radford University. I am a Media Studies major with a double concentration in Production Technology and Journalism as well as a Spanish minor. I am also the General Manager of Radio Free Radford and the Presdient of the Student Media Council.
I work part-time down here while attending Radford at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Christiansburg, 12 miles away. While in my hometown of Manassas, Virginia, I work full-time during Christmas and summer breaks.
One thing that some people may not know about me is that I am a professional DJ. I am for hire and have very competitive prices. I have professionally done weddings, retirement parties, Chamber of Commerce ceremonies, and just good old fashioned college and high school parties. If you are interested in hiring me for your next event, please contact me at mcandrews@radford.edu.
When I am not in class I enjoy playing tennis and basketball. I am on the Club Tennis team here at RU and I love it. I used to be on RU's Club Football team last year however injuries and schedule conflicts have prevented me from competing this year.
This is COMS 326 which is Web Production. It takes Digital Imaging (COMS 226) a step further and shows us how to put everything online and make our own websites on the Radford server.
I am taking this class as an elective because I enjoyed COMS 226 a lot so I wanted to take it a step further.
