Readings and Assignments

English 102-65 Spring 2009

This is a tentative schedule and is subject to change, so be sure to note announcements made in class. Readings should be read prior to the class period for which they are listed; in other words, they are due on the date listed. All quiz dates are tentative. Expect a quiz in the weeks labeled, but be aware that I may give a quiz at any time.

Papers and written assignments are due at the beginning of the class period for which they are listed. If you walk in late with an assignment, it is late. Please bring papers stapled and placed in a pocket folder with all of the required accompanying materials.

Your reading assignments will be listed as Norton (The Norton Field Guide to Writing), Friedman (Hot, Flat, and Crowded), and Graff (They Say, I Say). Additional photocopies of other articles will be preceded by "PC." Please bring the Norton and Friedman books to every class meeting. Bring They Say, I Say on the dates listed and as otherwise directed.
