New Coach
This year we have brought on a new head coach, Owen Corddry. Corddry played lacrosse at Virginia Tech, with our former coach, Nick Day. However lacrosse is nothing new to Corddry, who grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia playing at Madison High School. He played with the Gait brothers in high school and feels that he has gained a good deal of knowledge about lacrosse. Since graduating from Virginia Tech he has been in the area coaching. This past summer Corddry wrapped up a coaching job with young middle school kids. “I’m just excited to get out there with older players and help the Radford Lacrosse team as much as I can, I think I’m more excited then they are,” Corddry said. “We are excited to have Coach Corddry with us this year, and hope that his addition can be a part of continually moving the team in the right direction,” said President Kevin Moran. With the University of Maryland Tournament closing in on the team rapidly, Corddry will have his hands full the next two weeks.

Radford Lacrosse says Goodbye to last year’s coaches. Both Head Coach Nick Day and Asst. Coach Brent Wilson left the team after last season due to new job locations. The Radford Men’s Club Lacrosse team bids a farewell and good luck to the new coaches and their futures. No worries fans, the team has brought on a new Coach and will introduce him later this week. We are looking forward to a great season, with many big plans. |
