if you would like to explore the possibility of working on your thesis with me, please check my office hours or email me to make an appointment. As an active scholar, I welcome every opportunity to work with students on a wide variety of topics. The following links to publications indicate how lucky I have been to have worked with my past students on topics germane to my own scholarship. I directed theses ranging from James Joyce, Virginia Woolf, Katherine Mansfield, and Milan Kundera, to literary criticism, gender studies, film theory and adaptation, literature and music, philosophy/modernism, etc. My publications in the field of translation studies and my ongoing involvement in several other publication projects offer possibilities for colaborative learning and publishing, and I'm eager to involve like-minded students in research.
