In 1994, my two Radford University colleagues and I traveled to Russia in an attempt to set up an exchange program between the then-newly created Pereslavl University and Radford University. Other than to Pereslavl, we also traveled to Moscow and to Sergijev Posad, the seat of Russian Orthodox Church--see the pictures below (click for a larger image).
