Dublin and Glendalough.
During my 1992 visit to Dublin to attend the 13th International James Joyce Symposium, I stayed in the Trinity College dorm room overlooking the main thoroughfare in front of the college. In the summer of 2000 I returned to this great city to do some research and I took great pleasure in revisiting the college's treasures: The Long Room in the Library, the "Book of Kells" exhibit, etc. Students of Joyce will appreciate a few Joyce-related photos on "The Joyce of Dublin" and "More of Dublin" pages--click for a larger image.

Views of the West Campus and
of the centrally located
Campanile.
The windows of my room in the Regent
House off of Parliament Square opened to the College Green and to "the
meeting of the waters."

(I have no picture of my own because cameras are not allowed there).
More postcards of the Long Room, including the picture of the iron staircase.
