Sligo

When we arrived in Sligo after our drive through Connemara we were all famished. We took a quick walking tour of Sligo and saw the Sligo Abbey, Sligo Art Gallery, Sligo County Museum, the bronze statue of WB Yeats, and many other landmarks. We finally got to eat at our tour guides restaurant and had a wonderful meal. For our time in Sligo we stayed out in the country at the Benwiskin Center. The Benwiskin Center was a nice change because we were able to cook our own food and we had the entire place to ourselves.
