Kiwanis Leadership Development Program

There are 4 Club Officer training sessions. The Secretary and Treasurer material only occurs in Session 4. Each participant will receive a binder with handouts for each session. The cost is $10 per session, checks should be payable to the Capital District Kiwanis International. Training will be provided by Capital District Certified Trainers.

Session 1, Kiwanis Overview, Organization and Role of the President, covers the stucture of Kiwanis and President responsibilites.

Session 2, Communicating and Motivating. Objectives: communication and leadership skills; and motivate club leaders.

Session 3, Set Club Goals and Choosing your Team. Objectives: Build relationships; recognize resources, tools; and leadership skills.

Session 4, Practical Techniques for Club Presidents and Secretaries. Hear your LG -elect goals, Presidents session separate from Secretary, Treasurer group.
