Kiwanis Club of Rockingham celebrated 25 years of service
to the Shenandoah Valley on Sept. 25, 2002. A hors d'oeuvre dinner buffet
was hosted by Charles Neatrour, a charter member, at the Neatrour's
Dacha in Massanutten Virginia. Members from the Kiwanis Clubs throughout
Division 5 attended. Club President Dave Lawrence and LG-elect John
Weatherman provided remarks and recognized several club members with
service awards. Special regocnition was given to Russell Smith, the
club's first president; Charles Bilbrey, a distinguished club president;
and Charles Neatruour, the club's secnd president and twice Division
5 LG. Currenty Charles Neatrour is the club's secretary and many members
refer to Charles as the club's "founding father." (Capital
