Ways to Contribute to the
Capital District Kiwanis Foundation
| Life Membership |
Available to any Kiwanian with a $100 contribution. The sponsored can be by a Kiwanian, a Kiwanis Club, a spouse or friend of a Kiwanian. The Kiwanian can be an individual, past officer or outstanding member of the Club, Division, Region, or District. The Kiwanian receives a certificate and Life Member disc. Their name is listed on the Foundation's Life Membership Plaque and this web site. Funds derived from Life Memberships are invested, only the interest earned is used for Foundation programs. Therefore, your one-time contribution continues to support the Foundation activities year after year. |
| Founders Society |
Funds support the Servie Leadership Programs. Membership is $1000 and can be made in installments.
Contributors receive a ribbon, pin, and plaque. |
| Memorials |
Honor a deceased member of a Kiwanis family for a contribution of $100. The name of the memorialized person is placed on the Foundation Memorial Plaque and a certificate is presented to the next of kin. A personalized banner patch is given to the club which has purchased the memorial. |
| Tablet of Honor |
Honors an individual by contributing $1000. Sponsored by a Kiwanian, a Kiwanis Club, a spouse or friend of the Kiwanian. The recipient receives a certificate and Tablet of Honor Plaque. The name of the Kiwanian receiving the honor is listed on the Tablet of Honor Board and this web site. |

An annual compaign for each Capital District Kiwanis club. View how your Division is doing in this campaign. The money supports the Teenager of the Year Award and the Pediatric Centers within the Capital District.
This should not be confused with Kiwanis International Birthday fund. |
| Sustaining Member |
Contributes $25 a year for 4 consecutive years to receive a Life membership. |
| Young Children Priority One |
Contributions given to the Foundation in support of this program (YCPO) are accepted in any amount. These contributions are used in the service to children. |
| Youth Outreach Project |
Clubs that do not sponsor a Service Leadership Program (K-Kids Club, Builders Club, Key Club, or CKI Club) can help these organizations financially with a contribution of $100 each year. |
