Six decades of music (40s swing to present day) in all styles is taken on every job. To keep current I subscribe to PromoOnly.com for current rock, hip hop, and country music, and read Mobile Beat Magazine and DJ Times. The Mobile Beat top 200 playlist is one of many I keep on the computer. Lately, I have been using more mp3 files (compressed at 212 kps). This allows me to provide a requested song by the time the person returns to their table. I carry 4700 tunes on the computer. I can hook up a client's iPod, but do not use one myself. I also carry CDs. Requested music can be put into play within seconds for your event. |
