Home Thesis History Merger Sources Further Reading Links Contact

Welcome to the Broadband Revolution!

We've been waiting for you. This site is dedicated to backing the thesis, that the broadband revolution forces the media and it's content to be more efficient in what they do and improve on a more rapidly occurring basis. AOL Time Warner has been used as a case study to examine this thesis in a specific example.

The site has been split up into different sections to help you find what interests you most. You are currently viewing the Home page of the site. As you can see this is just an explanation of what will unfold during your stay here.

The next section is the Thesis section. While reading this section you will find the main thesis of the site backed up with research to support those views. This is more or less the main reason for why this site exists.

Moving along you will find the History section. Here you will find all the history deemed fit, on subjects such as the how ARPANET became the Internet you are using right now, the history of AOL Time Warner and everything up until they merged.

Merger is exactly what this section is all about; devoted to the details of AOL and Time Warner's proceedings along with all the debate and discussion that went along with it.

In Sources you will find all the reference material that was used to gather the information you are about to read. Feel free to follow up any of the avenues that were used in the creation of this site, to further your research.

If you are truly interested in doing more research,Further Reading is filled with sources that were not used on this site, but were very closely related to the material.

The Links section is rather self-explanatory. Here you will find links to sites deemed relevant to the issue of the broadband and the revolution currently taking place.

And finally the Contact section is provided so that you may contact the webmaster for any information or mistakes, and more importantly, leave your feedback on the site. Your comments are always valued on anything from design layout, to subject matter.

Thank you for visiting this site and hopefully you will find it to be informative!
