 Color is black

There wing span more than 4 feet

There tail is wedged shaped

Have feathers on the neck that appear to sage called hackles

Has a large bill that is curved on top

Some times difficult to distinguish specific species but Common Ravens are bigger than crow species

There are several similar looking species these include Chihuahuan Raven and American Crow
