Graduate Non-Degree: Application Process

Who is eligible to apply as a Graduate Non-Degree applicant?

Any person with a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution; and who plans to enroll in graduate courses (including Certificates); but who does not intended to enroll in a degree seeking program, may apply as a Graduate Non-Degree applicant.

Non-Degree Application Process:

1. Complete the online application for admission. Select Non-Degree Status, and indicate your purpose for seeking admission.
2. Complete the fee payment information to authorize your credit, debit, or check card payment for $40.00
3. Submit transcripts from colleges and universities that you have attended. Transcripts should be mailed to: Graduate Admissions College of Graduate and Extended Education RU PO Box 6928 Radford, VA 24142
4. After your application is received and reviewed, you will receive notification of your admission status via e-mail.

Minimum Requirements for Admission:

Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution, with a minimum GPA of 2.75. Students who do not meet the minimum GPA requirement may apply and submit additional documentation, for consideration.

Non-degree students are not eligible to enroll in all courses, and additional requirements may apply to be considered for admission to certain courses or certificates.
