MY HIGHLY EXCLUSIVE requirements are: friendly, respectful, laid back.
Responsible people with positive lifestyles welcome to apply. 
Requested one year minimum planned stay.  Please, no indoor smokers or
substance abusers.

The house is cool.  I've lived there about 4 years.  2-bedroom, 1-bath,
hardwood floors-- typical Heights bungalow.  Shabby-chic, but lots of
character and inexpensive.  Most terrific neighborhood in the world (in
my unbiased opinion), especially if you like roller-blading (or jogging).
I also have a sleek ferocious black kitten named Bartok, who can be very
sweet when he wants to be.

The house lies 2 minutes from I-45 (convenient to U of H), I-10, and 610.
It's about 15-25 minutes from Rice University by car, depending on traffic
(straight shot down Montrose), 45-50 minutes by bicycle.

I'm an architectural intern who works near Rice University, where I
graduated in 1996.  I am also an oboist who practices not so often as
she would like, so don't worry too much about that.  I have lived happily
with different people who have met the highly exclusive criteria listed above.

Rent: $392.50 each, per month, plus half the house bills.
Bills: including all utilities, monthly maid and lawn service:
In July, about $215 each.
In February, about $143 each.
