HIST 111, U.S. History to 1877, provides an introduction to the broad themes and ideas of American history from European exploration and settlement and to the era of Reconstruction after the Civil War.

HIST 112,  U.S. History since 1877, acquaints students with the broad themes and ideas associated with Gilded Age of the late 19th century to the most recent decades in American history.
