Johnny Moore, Associate Professor of History

Johnny Moore teaches courses in American social history, American religious movements, and the history of medicine.  He also teaches a course on populism an progressivism in the United States.  He completed his undergraduate work at Virginia Tech and received his doctoral degree from the University of Virginia in 1990.  He has written a number of articles on American social history and has published a book with Johns Hopkins University Press on the history of chiropractics.  When not in the classroom, Johnny Moore is following the baseball fortunes of the Chicago Cubs, building a log homes, or working on a novel.
