Garth "Mike" Montgomery, Assistant Professor of History
Mike Montgomery teaches courses in modern
European history, with an emphasis on Germany and France. He
specializes in European intellectual history, which is also the
subject
of his research and writing. He received his doctorate from the
University of Buffalo. He represents the Department of History in
the Radford University Faculty Senate and spearheads the department's
teacher screening process. He resides with his family in
nearby Blacksburg, Virginia, where they have been active in the local
soccer scene.
