Who is required to do an Exit Interview?
If
you received a Federal Stafford Loan at Radford University and....

you have withdrawn from
all classes at RU.....
-
you have withdrawn
below
half-time status
at RU.....
-
or, you are graduating
from Radford University....
You are required to complete
an Exit Interview. Students who fail to complete this requirement will
be blocked from future registration at Radford University. Diplomas will
be held for all graduating students until this requirement has been met.
When you complete the Exit Interview online you will need to create an
account (if you have not already) in order to access the online loan
counseling. This is to keep your information private.

You should have your loan
information and the amounts that you have borrowed before you begin the
Exit Interview on the web. Also, you will need information regarding two
references, their addresses and phone numbers. There is a short quiz at
the end of the Exit Interview that you will have to take to complete the
Exit Interview. You must pass 70% of the questions in order to
satisfactorily satisfy this requirement. Once the Interview is
completed, the results of your successful Exit Interview will be
e-mailed to RU's Financial Aid Office automatically.

Once you enter repayment and
you have a problem regarding your federal education loan, and other
reasonable efforts have failed we recommend you try contacting the
Student Financial Assistance Ombudsman. The U.S. Department of
Education's Ombudsman office may be able to propose solutions to resolve
the problems.
