Transportation Services
Radford University owns
and operates many vehicles including passenger cars, pick-up trucks,
vans, dump trucks and buses. These vehicles are used by various
departments such as the maintenance department, campus police,
food service, athletics, vending and residential facilities.
The Department of Facilities
Management has ten-passenger vans available
for use by Radford University faculty, staff and students to conduct
University related business. The University maintains a contract
with ENTERPRISE
RENT-A-CAR for longer distance trips.
Our ten-passenger vans are
available for use by Radford University faculty, staff and students
for University business and student activities. All drivers of
ten-passenger vans must attend a two-hour Van Driver Safety Class
and a 30-minute road test to become certified to drive. This class
is conducted by the SAFETY
department.

The Facilities Management
Department has a Motor Vehicle Maintenance shop which maintains
all University owned vehicles.
