Accessing RU Email from an iPhone / iTouch

Radford University faculty, staff and students may access their Exchange mailbox and calendar from an iPhone / iTouch as long as it is running the 2.0 or later version of firmware. The ActiveSync Exchange connecter in the 2.0 software provides a seamless interface to your email. For older iTouch users, this is available via download from Apple at a nominal cost.

The screen captures below will allow you to configure your device to access the Exchange server.

Notes
• The username must be replaced with your actual RU email username.
• Be careful to use the correct backslash "\" in radford\username. From the iphone keyboard, you have to press the <.?123> key and then the <#+=> key to see this key.
• If you have previously configured email or calendar settings on your iPhone/iTouch, you should delete this old account before following these instructions to gain all of the functionality from the email/calendar.
