STUDENT INITIATED SIGHT SINGING
An interactive program for the instruction of rudimentary sight singing skills by David Otis Castonguay
THE CHALLENGE
- Provide a way for any student to practice sight singing at home. The student receives immediate
assessment by listening and singing along with the melody played correctly by an audio file.
- The program should work with various levels of technology to adapt to the student’s available resources, print and audio CD’s or a personal computer.
- Provide an opportunity to customize sight singing melodies for individual instructional tastes.
- Provide this flexible instruction in a low cost per student package that may be used by an unlimited number of students at little or no cost to the student.
