RU CHOIR INVITED TO TOUR RUSSIA IN JANUARY 2007

David Otis Castonguay has been invited to return to Moscow and Yekaterinburg, Russia with a choir during the 2006-2007 academic year. The choir will be the featured performer at the Festival of American Christmas Music in historic Yekaterinburg during the feast days of Russian Orthodox Christmas and New Years in January 2007. The tour will also include concerts in Moscow and a tour of St. Petersburg. Professor Castonguay will present master classes in choral literature, vocal technique and historical performance practice for assembled Russian conductors. The choir will enjoy tours of historic sites and the extraordinary warmth of Russian hospitality in the cold winter weather of Russia in January.

RU CHOIR INVITED TO PERFORM ORFF CARMINA BURANA WITH THE ROANOKE SYMPHONY IN MAY 2007

Ru choirs have been invited to perform Orff's dramatic cantata, Carmina Burana with the Roanoke Symphony conducted by David Wiley in May of 2007. The choir will join the Roanoke Symphony Chorus and the Liberty University Choir in performance on Monday, 7 May, 2007 at the Roanoke Performing Arts Center.

RU CHOIR INVITED TO PERFORM AT FESTA MUSICALE MARTINEAU IN PARDUBICE, CZECH REPUBLIC IN JULY 2007

David Otis Castonguay has been invited to bring a choir to the international Martineau Choral Music Festival in Pardubice, Czech Republic in July of 2007. This international festival features groups from around the world ranging from children's and youth choirs to adult professional ensembles, all performing in this historic city in Bohemia located 90 miles east of the capital city, Prague.
