Delta Psi Chapter

One Heart One Way

At Radford University, the sisters of Sigma Kappa's Delta Psi chapterlive by the motto "One Heart One Way." Each sister brings individual qualities to the chapter that better the sorority as a whole. As the chapter grows, so do the bond of theie sisterhood. Most resently the chapter recevied two awards at the 2009 Fall Party. Sigma Kappa won the honor he being named the Sorority with the Highest Over all GPA, and Highest New Member GPA.

In the past year the sorority has gained 28 new members. In spring of 2009, Delta Psi welcomed a new member class of 19 girls. In fall of 2009, Sigma Kappa welcomed of another new member class of 9 young women. With spring 2010, quickly approching the chapter is looking for potential new members to welcome into their family.

In November, Delta Psi held election to elect a new executive board and a junior executive board. A month later the elected executive and junior executive board were installed in to their new positions. Junior Lori Ficks took over the position of President and is very excited for the up coming year. Lori has many plans for the future of the Delta Psi chapter.

In the upcoming semester Sigma Kappa has planned many sisterhood soicals to keep the bond between the sisters as close as ever. The sorority has also planned may mixeers with other chapters on campus to keep their ties with the Greek Comunity close. Sigma Kappa is also working hard to get their Ultra Vilote Day projects under way. This will further support unity among the Greek Community.
