Looking down on dry release area after removal of wastewater system
This picture was taken in October of 1997, just two months after the previous picture. The fractures that had been saturated immediately after the 1996 rockslide (and still saturated in August of 1997) were found to be dry only two months after the temporary wastewater system was removed in August of 1997. It has been dry on every visit by the authors since that time.
