ATTENDANCE:

You are required to attend all classes. Role will be taken each class period. You are given three (3) cuts. You will loose 5% for each cut over three (3). A grade of “F” will be assigned after seven (7) cuts. THERE ARE NO EXCUSED ABSENCES. All athletes must submit documentation of away games prior to the game.

REQUIREMENTS:

55 out of class hours through participation on a property crew or scenery crew. Only 20 hours obtained through running the show may be counted toward this requirement. Work must be on a main stage not studio production.

Attend each main stage and studio productions

Complete two (2) drafting projects: 1) Isomeric/Oblique, 2) Floor plan. All projects turned in after the beginning of the class period the day project is due will be considered late and assessed a LETTER GRADE.

Complete three (3) costume construction projects: 1) Machine sampler, 2) Hand sampler, 3) Apron project. All projects turned in after the beginning of the class period the day project is due will be considered late and assessed a LETTER GRADE.

Each student must bring to all stage construction classes their own hammer and tape measurer. You should attend each class with these items and wear clothing appropriate to the shop.

Each student must bring the following items for costume construction classes:

1 good pair cutting sheers (must be fabric sheers!)
1pkg. Machine needles (Schmetz brand only)
1/2 yd. Muslin – medium grade.

ATTEND STRIKE FOR Some Enchanted Evening and Wind and the Willows.

THEATRE MAJORS: ATTEND ALL DEPARMENTAL MEETINGS.
