Carl has been the Scenic and Lighting designer for the department since
1979. Professionally, Carl is actively involved in
the United States Institute for Theatre Technology and the Southeastern
Theatre Conference. For the USITT Southeast Section he has held the offices of Treasurer, Vice-Chair and Chair.
In USITT he currently serves
as the Vice President for Programming for National Conference committee and is
now serving a one year term as President Elect.
