At RU there is always plenty to do and then some. You will find a plethora of educational and fun-filled activities, approximately 160 student clubs or organizations to join, sporting events to cheer on the Highlanders and so much more. All this is planned to let you know that you are important to us and that we want you to consider RU your home-away-from-home.
The Black Awareness Programming Board's purpose is to stimulate interest and heighten awareness of the contributions of the African American population. Radford University's Black Awareness Programming Board (BAP Board) sponsors cultural, educational, social and entertainment activities. These activities are offered to students at either a reduced rate or free of charge. Supported through Student Activity Fees and administered entirely by students, the Black Awareness Programming Board is open to all Radford University students. BAP Board offers the opportunity to expand interests and abilities while putting personal creativity to work. As a member, students have a variety of leadership opportunities available within the organization
