ESHE 358 Lecture Schedule Spring 2012
This is the tentative schedule for lectures
for the ESHE 358-01for Spring 2012 in Peters C144 at 5:00. Obviously
(think winter weather), it is subject to change and those planning to attend
should also check their e-mail before leaving for class.
All students registered for this class must attend the
orientation lecture which is the first class meeting. If this is missed, the student must arrange
to meet with the instructor. Failure to
do this will result in the student being dropped from the class.
There are seven (7) scheduled instructional sessions
listed. Class members attending all seven will earn 70 points. (This does not include security training.)
The course grading scale is set at 100. Thus, 90+=A, 89-80=B, 79-70=C,
etc.
This course offers three options:
1.
Attend
all seven lectures and submit projects to increase your point total to obtain
the grade you desire. (Thus, you would
have 70 points from lectures + security training at 15 and the Facebook at 10 =
95 total and an A for your final grade.)
2.
Attend
some of the lecture and submit projects to reach your desired point total. The condition with this option is that
whatever lecture you miss, you must submit at least one project from that
category. (Thus, if you attend all but Excel lecture; you would have 60
points. You must do one project from
Excel just to get a C. Other
projects may then be submitted from any category to increase your point total
to you desired level.)
3.
Attend
none of the lectures and submit projects to obtain your points. The condition for this option is you must
submit at least one project from each of the seven required categories.
The projects listed total over 200 points and students may
submit those for credit as they chose, based on the above guidelines. (Note the
limitation on submitting all at the end of the semester.)
