
This class shall provide the student with an understanding of basic leadership skills essential for the areas of exercise and physical fitness. It introduces general leadership concepts and principles necessary for managers and leaders within the field.

Outside Assignments:
1. Oral presentation and/or written summery on a component of leadership.
2. Participation in and leadership of compare and contrast of the "Covey Books."
2. Presentation and two page typed summery the life and accomplishments of a recognized leader from approved list.
3. Short papers and/or assignments on related specific topics as appropriate.
Exams: Two/Three.
Grade: Will be based on total points accumulated for all work assigned.
