REPORTING INSTANCES OF FRAUD, WASTE, AND ABUSE OF UNIVERSITY RESOURCES

The Office of Audit and Advisory Services actively pursues reports of fraud, waste, or abuse involving University resources. There are two means available for reporting observations of this nature:

The identity of the individual conveying the information remains confidential in either case. The Office of Audit and Advisory Services encourages individuals with information pertaining to fraud, waste, or abuse to contact the University Auditor directly. Direct reporting enhances the ability or the reporting individual to assist the Office of Audit and Advisory Services in gathering the evidence necessary to substantiate the claim and to initiate corrective action.

All allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse are seriously considered and pursued to the extent allowed by the quality of the information provided and evidence available.
