I do not tell my students how to create. Instead, I show them a variety of techniques and maintain a strong dialogue with them in an effort to promote the creation of good metal art, whether it is small sculpture or jewelry. My goal is to bring each student to a higher level of understanding the metal arts by strengthening his or her technical skills and broadening their conceptual experience.
