I advocate that we allow the students' voice to be heard through their creations. Students can tell educators what they understand and show us how they reinterpret it into a visual form. this occurs when a teacher has a working knowledge of their students. Teachers become the pupil of their students. The Visual Arts in this way is not as much about the product created as a reflection of what students have learned and how they have synthesized it for us.
