The number of cheaply priced "economy" digital cameras, targeted at the general public instead of professional photographers, has been growing recently. While this trend allows more people access to more efficient imaging technologies, it leaves the consumer with a problem: which of these economy models is the best bargain? Does the low price outweigh the possible lower quality of the camera? This article is the second in a series that will answer these unknowns about cheap digital cameras.
