Student Media Says Goodbye to the Head Geek

For the last three years, the Student Media lab (where all of Student Media is published) has been carefully ran by an remarkable individual named Kevin Martin. Through Kevin's hard work and dedication, student media now has a lab that is a functional and sane working environment.

Whim readers will remember Kevin's many contributions to the tech section, and Whim altogether. During Kevin's tenure as tech section manager, the section performed far beyond the norm, producing more content than any other section. As you have noticed on this week's tech front page, Kevin still writes us an article or two.

The tech section, and all of student media, would like to take this opportunity to thank Kevin Martin for all his efforts over the past few years. Without Kevin, the student media lab, and student media itself, would not be where it is today. When I, tech section manager Jenny Conner, fully take over Kevin's Lab Technician position in the Spring, I can only hope to perform half as well as he did.
