Sev's NFL Power 10 & Picks

The playoff picture of the NFL is almost complete, but it is still a little unclear. The Eagles, Steelers, and Patriots move on to records of 11-1 and the three continue to own the league. It was a good weekend of football and here's some NFL news for you:
  • Many sports media programs said that the Packers had a very good chance of beating the Eagles. They were wrong, and I will soon have their jobs. By the way, the score of that game was 47-17, in favor of the Eagles. Good picks guys!
  • The Redskins win their first game in about five, maybe six, I lost count. However, I did take notice that their offense scored a season high number of points? I think?
  • Chad Pennington's back to play quarterback for the Jets... thank God! They should return to their winning ways!
  • San Diego wins again over Denver 20-17, and I'm very excited for them.
Oh yeah, and of course, my Power 10 following week 13:

Power 10 Rankings

1) Pittsburgh Steelers (11-1)
~It was a very close game in Jacksonville. Unfortunately the Steelers won again, 17-16. Please stop them from winning!

2) Philadelphia Eagles (11-1)
~It's was sad to see Brett Farve take himself out of the game in the third quarter. It was good to see McNabb throw for 464 yards and five touchdowns!

3) New England Patriots (11-1)
~The Pats continue to play great ball. Notice how I copy and paste the same sentence every week! It's ok though, try to beat them. Actually, Cincinnati might!

4) Atlanta Falcons (9-3)
~The Bucs stopped Mike Vick and what happened? They won 27-0. See what happened?

5) Indianapolis Colts (9-3)
~Another big win for Peyton Manning and the Colts! I said once that they would move up this list.

6) San Diego Chargers (9-3)
~The San Diego Chargers edged the Broncos, 20-17. Those no stopping those super Chargers!

7) New York Jets (9-3)
~Pennington's back. Let's leave it at that!

8) Denver Broncos (7-5)
~They may have lost to the Chargers, but it's hard to beat a team on a roll. I have a feeling Denver will win out the rest of their season. Maybe...

9) Baltimore Ravens (7-5)
~The Ravens are still a very good team in my book. A big reason that the Bengals may beat the Pats this Sunday is because of this win over the Ravens.

10) Green Bay Packers (7-5)
~The Packers are having a great year, but don't expect to walk into Philly and win. They got put in their place.

Just missed: Minnesota Vikings (7-5)
